THINGS TO DO

In the evening, the Blue Starlite Mini Urban Drive-in screens blockbusters and independent films. Under a big Texas sky, the events are held in the Mueller neighborhood. Check out the films.

You won't regret visiting the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center if you like beautiful scenery and learning about native plants and animals. Having the open area allows you to avoid crowds and enjoy the fresh air outside.

The Pinballz Arcade features endless arcade games, both new and historical. There is nothing better than eating, drinking, and winning prizes for hours on end. We also have a BYOB policy at our North Austin location! A local business Austinites can be proud of.

Whether you're a school child or an adult interested in science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM), the Thinkery museum is the perfect place to learn. We welcome young and old alike. During sensory-friendly hours, Thinkery provides a less crowded and quieter experience.

It is important for everyone to be able to express themselves artistically, and CRAFT offers an on-site craft workshop with a wide range of tools and art supplies for residents to enjoy alone or with their family. Bringing creative outlets to all levels, it is one of Austin's jewels.

Lady Bird Lake's Hike & Bike Trail and Boardwalk offer a wide range of benefits. It's a great place to contemplate and watch the bats come out at dusk to gorge with striking views of the Austin skyline, a beautiful lake, and plenty of trees rustling all around.

Walking distance from each other is the UMLAUF Sculpture Park, Zilker Park, and Zilker Botanical Garden. An afternoon reading in the sun or a picnic are perfect ways to start the day. It's no wonder Zilker Park hosted the Austin City Limits Music Festival, markets and marathons in addition to the Austin City Limits Music Festival each fall. Scope them out for yourself.

We have many vintage, thrift, and antique shops where you can buy vintage items. As with Uncommon Objects, Top Drawer offers an eclectic mix of old and new items. During your visit to Austin, you can take home any historical pieces that catch your attention.

There is a Blanton Museum of Art nearby the Texas State Capitol, right across the street from the Bullock Texas State History Museum. A grand time awaits you with Ellsworth Kelly's Austin exhibit, hands-on activities, and regular artist talks. Art can be studied by anyone at their own pace. There is also a cafe on-site, as well as a splendid gift shop.
