client: galactic brews
year: 2021
yuri gmbh, in collaboration with hostmi and hopstronautix, will launch hops from barthhaas to space and create a "space beer" at the brauhaus germering. The hops will be sent on a journey to space onboard an unmanned rocket where it will experience microgravity for a few minutes, before returning back to earth. After the rocket returns, the special hops will be processed and used to brew the space beer.
The design clearly tries to tell the story, hops become traveling spaceships!.
Beer label, sturgis brewing co. P-51 blonde ale p-51 blonde ale, sturgis mustang rally. This is a beer label i knocked out for a collaboration between the sturgis brewing co. And the sturgis mustang rally. The sturgis mustang rally takes place on labor day weekend and is the second largest event in sturgis behind the world-famous motorcycle rally. The ford mustang was named after the ww2 fighter plane, the p-51 mustang. They gave me free rein on the artwork, only stating that “it should have a mustang in it”. They came up with the name at the end of the creative process.
